Description
The Project Manager / Superintendent manages key client projects. Project management responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope. Oversee all aspects of projects. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of project. Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project. The successful candidate will work directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. He or she will coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible and will hire new talent as needed to fulfill client needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Manages all aspects of projects.
- Serves as point of contact.
- Prepares and submits job progress reports.
- Facilitate plan design changes, and up to date budgets as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in related field highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a project manager, project engineer, and/or estimator
- 5+ years working in road building, underground utilities, paving, and land development project management.
- Must be familiar with DOT specifications and have experience in both the public and private sectors.
- Detailed knowledge of commercial/residential construction materials and methods
- Strong organizational, communication, and computer proficiency skills
